Glassfibre Reinforced Concrete (GRC)

Glass-fibre Reinforced Concrete (GRC) is one of the most versatile building materials available to architects and engineers and offers great freedom for design and creativity

Advantages of GRC are:

  • Lightweight, easy to handle and fast to erect

  • Reduce loadings on buildings

  • Excellent for reproduction and renovation

  • Environmentally friendly and durable

GRC can be moulded to form modern futuristic designs and also to replicate traditional historic features. It can be painted, faced with fine aggregates, coloured or simply left with a natural white or grey, smooth or textured finish.

  • GRC WALL CLADDING-

GRC is easily moulded to reproduce shapes, details and textures with high strength allowing designs of thin, lightweight cladding elements where weight and / or shape may be challenging

  • GRC FEATURES & MOULDINGS –

The high-performance alkali resistant glass fibres are evenly distributed in the mix and the material is reinforced throughout; enabling products with the finest of details to be created. Whilst often cast with thicknesses in excess of 25 mm these products remain easy to handle and erect, and permit the architect or engineer a wide range for creative design.

  • GRC COLUMNS –

GRC’s versatility enables it to be used in different ways in the construction and decoration of building walls.

  • GRC DOOR & WINDOW SURROUND –

Moulded GRC components such as window sills, door & window surrounds, cornices, door portals and columns, add decoration to residential and commercial buildings while also meeting functional needs.
